Terms Of Use
Last updated August 26, 2026
The rules for using Little Honu. Plain language, and short, because it is a game about a turtle.
Who these terms are with
Little Honu is made and published by Deschutech LLC. "We", "us" and "our" in these terms mean that company, and these terms are an agreement between you and Deschutech LLC.
Apple's standard terms apply
Little Honu is distributed through the App Store, so your use of it is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which you can read at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ — the terms below sit alongside it. Where the two genuinely conflict, Apple's agreement wins.
Your licence
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Little Honu on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial enjoyment. You may not resell it, rent it out, reverse-engineer it, strip out its art or audio for your own projects, or ship a modified copy.
The game, its code, its pixel art, its music and the name Little Honu remain the property of Deschutech LLC.
Purchases and virtual items
The premium unlock is a one-time purchase that removes ads and opens Hard difficulty. Booster packs are consumable items used up inside the game.
All purchases are handled by Apple. Prices are shown in the App Store before you confirm. Restoring a previous purchase asks Apple for your entitlements, so it works on any device signed in to the same Apple Account.
Boosters, lives, scores and any other in-game item have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred out of the game. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy — we cannot issue them ourselves, but if a purchase went wrong, write to hello@littlehonugame.com and we will help you sort it out with Apple.
Ads
The free version is supported by occasional ads, described in the Privacy Policy. We choose the ad settings — child-directed treatment, general-audience content, non-personalized — but we do not choose the individual ads, and we are not responsible for the products in them. If you see an ad that seems inappropriate for a family game, send us a screenshot at hello@littlehonugame.com and we will report it.
Fair play
Do not tamper with the game to fake leaderboard scores or achievements, and do not try to obtain purchases without paying for them. Game Center scores that are clearly impossible may be reported to Apple for removal.
The game may change
Little Honu is an actively developed game. Levels, difficulty, art, boosters and prices can change in an update, and features can be added or retired. Online pieces that depend on Apple — Game Center, In-App Purchase — depend on Apple keeping them running.
No warranty
The game is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your saved progress will survive every device, iOS update or restore. Back up your device if your progress matters to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the game, and our total liability is limited to the amount you actually paid for Little Honu and its in-app purchases in the twelve months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as that place allows.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in Oregon are the venue for any dispute. Nothing here takes away consumer rights that the law of your own country gives you and does not allow you to waive.
