Privacy Policy

Little Honu does not have accounts, does not ask who you are, and does not sell anything about you. Your game lives on your device.
Who we are
Little Honu is made and published by Deschutech LLC. "We" and "us" in this policy mean that company, and Deschutech LLC is the data controller responsible for the game.
The short version
- No sign-up, no login, no email address, no profile.
- Your progress, settings and purchases are stored on your own device.
- No ads. The game shows no advertising at all, so no ad network collects anything from it.
- No analytics, attribution, crash-reporting or advertising SDK — no third-party code at all beyond Apple's own frameworks.
- We do not collect, sell or share personal information. There is nothing to collect it with.
What stays on your device
The game saves your progress (level reached, score, lives, boosters, achievements), your settings (audio, haptics, controls, difficulty) and which purchases you own. This is written to the app's own storage on your device. We never receive a copy of it.
If you have iCloud or iTunes device backups turned on, Apple may include that saved game in your backup, under Apple's terms. Deleting the app removes the saved game from your device.
Advertising
There is none. Little Honu shows no ads, for anyone, in any version. Earlier releases showed occasional non-personalized ads; the advertising SDK was removed from the app entirely, so no ad network receives anything from the game any more — no device identifier, no ad data, no location estimate. The game never shows an App Tracking Transparency prompt because there is nothing to ask about.
Game Center
Leaderboards and achievements are optional and run entirely on Apple's Game Center. If you are signed in, your scores and achievements go to Apple and appear under your Game Center nickname. We never see your Apple Account, your real name or your email — only the scores Game Center hands back for the leaderboard. Apple's handling is covered by Apple's privacy policy, and you can sign out of Game Center in iOS Settings at any time.
Purchases
The premium unlock and booster packs are sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple takes the payment and tells the app only whether you own the item. We never see or store your card, your billing address or your Apple Account. Restoring purchases asks Apple, not us.
Photos and sharing
If you tap Save on a score card, the game asks iOS for add-only access to your photo library so it can write that one image. It cannot read, browse or delete your photos. If you tap Share instead, iOS shows its own share sheet and nothing is sent anywhere until you choose a destination yourself.
What the game never asks for
- No location permission, contacts, calendar, microphone, camera or health data. The game never asks iOS for your location.
- No email address, phone number or postal address.
- No analytics, crash-reporting, attribution or advertising SDK. Nothing in the app collects anything.
Children
Little Honu is built to be safe for young players. There is no account, no profile, no chat, no ads and no way to type anything that leaves the device, so the game asks no child for personal information and receives none.
Nothing in the game collects data, so there is nothing that could build a profile of a child or track anyone across apps. If you believe a child has somehow provided personal information through the game, write to hello@littlehonugame.com and we will look into it and delete anything we find.
Your choices
- Sign out of Game Center in iOS Settings to keep scores off the leaderboards.
- Delete the app to erase the saved game and settings from your device.
- Adjust Apple's own advertising controls in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security.
Your rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA and similar)
Laws in some places give you the right to see, correct, export or delete the personal information a company holds about you, and to opt out of its sale. We hold none: there is no account, no server and no database on our side, so there is nothing for us to look up, export or delete. The game data is in your hands, on your device, and deleting the app removes it. We do not sell or share personal information, and we never have.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version is posted on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
